this is my mom reading 'on the night you were born' to nuria. have you ever read this book? i turned into a blubbering idiot the first time i read it. the only time i read it, in fact, because i'm sure that it will make me cry everytime. i never used to understand why people liked books like these. that was before i had a baby come out of me. now they're about the only thing that come close to expressing the emotion that's all welled-up inside behind the crazy fits of rage and chocolate chip binges.
